Jun Huang, Soochow University, China and Yueyuan Zhang, Soochow University, China and Yan Song, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, China

Session Focus

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the improvement of the complexity of system structure, the next generation industrial manufacturing brings us a series of challenges to break though bottleneck of high-end technology. In recent years, the modelling, machine learning, estimation, and control problems of complex industrial objects have received a great deal of attention from researchers in a variety of research communities. The purpose of this special session is to solicit recent achievements of structural design, data analysis and control theory of complex engineering systems so as to further improve and develop the theoretical methods of complex industrial system modelling, estimation, prognostics, and optimization, and promote the development level of informatization and automation of industrial systems.

Session Topics

  • Mathematical modelling and control for stochastic systems
  • Secure state estimation and optimization for industrial control systems
  • Fault detection and fault tolerance for industrial control systems
  • Advanced control for industrial control systems
  • Distributed control and optimization for multi-agent systems
  • Latent factor learning for large-scale networks with missing information
